Kinder – Unwrap a Smile
Ferraro’s Kinder Surprise rolled out a program called “Unwrap a Smile” featuring a giant touring egg for its 40th anniversary. Inside the giant egg, consumers got their photos taken in an old-school photobooth with a specially designed chute that dropped Kinder Eggs down to consumers as they had their photo taken.
The activation launched at the Eaton Centre in time for the busy back-to-school season and participants who tagged and shared their photos #kindersmiles on Facebook or Twitter would have their image transported to a digital billboards in high traffic area in Toronto.
The next stop on the tour was at the Canadian National Exhibit (CNE) where Kinder rejoiced in the sweet satisfaction of breaking the Guinness World Record title for the most people unwrapping a confectionary item simultaneously with 817 people participating. The booth continues its journey across the country for months to come, keep tabs on when and where Kinders Smile booth will pop up next or create a virtual photo strip in the Smile Booth by joining Kinder Canada’s Fan page: www.facebook.com/KinderCanada
